2) Create folder name "UPDATE" (<path to sql UPDATES>) in the source or in your network and Download all the needed SPs, CUs and Hotfixes that you want to “embed” in this folder

6) here the command line to install:

<SourceSQL>\setup.exe /ConfigurationFile=<Path to your ini config file>\ConfigurationFile.ini

And you have a full uptodate SQL 2012 installed, with the updates that you want ;)

7) BE CAREFULL, I EXPERIENCE INSTALLATION OF X64 UPDATES ON X86 SQL:

  1. SQL tell us the version is uptodate
  2. SCCM query does not read this version
  3. You are not able to reinstall sp1...etc update for your x86 and you can not use this server => You have only solution to Delete all and reinstall

=> USE X64 UPDATE WITH X64 SQL AND X86 UPDATE WITH X86 SQL.
